teams that could make a push for hendo
Atlanta Hawks — $19.3 million
Philadelphia 76ers — $16.1 million
Detroit Pistons — $14.5 million
Orlando Magic — $13.7 million
Sacramento Kings — $13.6 million
Milwaukee Bucks — $9.7 million
Dallas Mavericks — $9.3 million
Utah Jazz — $5.3 million
From your link: Charlotte Bobcats — $6.3 million (since we've been discussing cap numbers today)
Based on their numbers, it looks like they reached this number by ignoring Hendo's cap hold and still including Adrien. The assumption being, we'd have $6.3m left if we are to renounce Hendo. I come up with $6.7m, here's the differences.
A) They have a higher number for Big Al's salary than has been reported, a total of $41,068,500. Maybe they know something I don't though, we both have him with 4.5% raises, they just have a higher total salary.
B) They have McBob's salary at the original report of 2/6, instead of the more recently reported 2/5.5, which I went with.
Aside from those two points we have the same numbers, which is kind of troubling since in either case we shouldn't be able have this much salary and still hold Hendo's rights...he may already be unrestricted. That said, cutting Adrien would put us right at the cap by my numbers (like $165k over), so it's possible we did that so we could maintain Hendo's restricted rights.
