I don't think that's accurate. He's an asset of the bucks and Brandon can likely be re-signed at fair market value. There's also a good chance he now sees what he has to do with his career in order to get the money he wants.

I'm with you. Not enthusiastic about it, but it's coldly rational thinking. For the first two months of the season he was borderline all-star - at least in the land of punditry - and it's unwise to pitch that without anything coming back.
I'd actually be happy if we got him at the Teague offer. Please note: happiness is tied into the lowered expectations of the Kohl administration.
