So this is a picset of Dwight at Incheon Airport in Seoul, Korea,

He just looks so out of place - towering over everyone and everything in his sight lol.

I can imagine the remarks in Korean by the locals who dont know who he is, but see a huge, African American Giant in the Airport hahah.

It seems he likes Asians girls too.

They need to find new places to stick those slippery advertisements. I have seen so many players slip on those things especially in college. One of these days someone is going to get seriously hurt.

RunDogGun wrote:Question for musicians: I've been buying musical instruments off Craigslist. I've bought a strat, which I've fixed up, a bass that I fixed, and some drums that needed work. Now I just bought another strat. I'm not a strat guy, and the picture the guy had was a sunburst tele by Austin, but when I got there it was a sunburst strat. He only wanted ten dollars for it ($20 before he realized I was bummed). It was too good of a deal to pass up.

Now the question, do I just keep it a strat, and beef up all the other parts, or do I cut and shape the body to make a totally different look? I already reshaped a strat headstock to look like a tele on the other strat, and it came out very good. The body has a decent paint job, and reshaping it might be very tough to keep. I have a ton of guitars, so I don't need another strat, and it would be cool to make my own guitar body, and it only cost $10. :D

For ten bucks, sure, mess it up. Put a humbucker in it, like Keith R does on his teles. Frankenstein guitars are fun.
Can't understand why you'd reshape a headstock though - lot of work and it looks pretty much the same. Old-style small hstock? I did like them better than the bigger one they went to

Thanks for the input. I made two sketches and went with the second one I created. I used the Fender Toronado as an example, but made my own horns, using the strat pick guard shape to help create my shape. Obviously I'm limited by the wood size I currently have in the strat body. I taped the sketch on top of the guitar and I am ready to cut the wood. The sanding and shaping will take a long time. Then I have to decide if I'm going to just stain the parts I cut and sanded, or sand the whole thing down, and stain. I think I'll try to match the stain first, since it is a sunburst currently, and I can always scrap that and sand the whole thing.

I just like tele headstocks better, and after the success with the first one I made, I'm pretty confident I can do something similar with what size I have.

I rescued a Chihuahua a few days ago as well. My ChiChi that i had for 17 years died earlier this year, and i wasnt looking to replace him, but had the opportunity to rescue a dog that looks just like him. Same color and markings, but this one is a little taller.......and gay.

When i got him, his name was Leo, short for Leonitus. Im not too fond of the name, so i have been calling him Hentai.
