I only caught glimpses of the 2nd and 4th quarter so I can't give many other reasons. Statistically Spain shot the ball well and outrebounded Slovenia 38-26, but they turned the ball over 14 times compared to Slovenia's amazing only 5 TOs.
This tournament is very balanced. You're not seeing much blowout wins. And historically **** teams (Finland, Latvia, etc.) are doing well. Teams ranked from 1-8 pre-tournament is a toss up albeit Spain and Greece remain the favorites. Spain has Gasol but they're front court is not that impressive. Their liability is at PF and SF. They have athletic guards but you can't play them all at once and Lull, Rubio, Fernandez are very streaky shooters.

I still don't understand why they're starting Javtokas. He's not doing anything that can contribute to team success. Yes he plays good defense but he's ineffective offensively.
