Here are the averages of his players in the second half of last season:
14, 17, 19 ,17, 17, 18, 11, 7, 9, 10, 6, 8, 6, 9 (estimated for McLemore).

That comes out to a per player / per game median of just over 12 points, which is far above the average for a 20 team league.

I have found that bballmonster stat comparisons to a 20 team league aren't very reliable for our league--that is, if you used bballmonster.

I do think your projection for McLemore is slightly conservative. I'd probably give him 10-12.

it's the end of the draft, people are bored and can't wait for the season to start. It's nice, we can have legitimate and informative discussions about our teams.

paste it and I will peep about your team

Is there anyone interested in Luke Ridnour, by the way?

Here's a peep for you:

I'd say your team is extremely top heavy. I know because so is mine. Anchoring your team with guys like Love, WEstrbook, Bledsoe and Martin makes for quite the balanced team. You've got strengths in points, assists, boards, and potentially %s and TOs with that foursome. However, it's about how the rest of your team plays out. Guys like Hawes and Nelson will compliment your starting 4, but I see each of them taking steps back this year as their respective teams emphasize youth. As for the other guys, Carter and Dalembert are only slightly serviceable, and at least 3 of your last 5 picks will end up back on the waiver wire by December.

In the end, I think depth will be your main concern.

Best case scenario (if your last 6 picks come through):
Strong in 3s, assists, TOs, FT%
Good in Points Boards
Average in FG%
Weak in Steals, Blocks

Well you got the league's best Rebounder but you might not have enough support for him to win that category consistently. other than that, Assists seem pretty good, 3s seem good as well, Points are probably mediocre, FT% is pretty good, FG% of course is lacking, in fact tanking?? Blocks are below average and I guess Steals are average. and average in TO

Excellent team. Dominant in threes. Well above average in pts, asts, stls, and ft%. Average in blocks. Below average in rebounds. Way below average in TOs and FG%.

But, that depends on Shawne Williams making the team, and Harrington and Garcia finding playing time.

Just Harrington and Garcia need to find PT? I'd say Blatche and Jones are also candidates for that PT conundrum. Add to that: Bayless does little, even with 20 mins./game, Dalembert is a suspect contributor, even as a starter. Who knows how well Hawes does on a tanking team.

I just don't see how the team is all that "excellent". Good, yes. Good enough to be top 8, that remains to be seen...perhaps he can ride his top 6 guys all the way to a playoff berth, but the bottom 8 could drag him down.

alright let's make it a rule, from now on whenever somebody posts their full roster, at least 4 people comment on it. I think that's a very good way to pass the time until the season starts, brainstorming and discussion is fun. In addition, it gives more insight towards the drafts we are later gonna get in (I have at least 4 more)

I like that rule. Can I post my roster again? Now that I've addressed some of the issues and picked a few more people?

Screw it. I'm going to do it anyway. After going back and forth to this site so many times today, and sending hundreds of reminders to people in this league that they're "up"....I think I deserve a little more analysis on my team:

PG Jrue Holiday
SG Monta Ellis
G Grievis Vasquez
G Evan Fournier
PF John Henson
SF Wes Matthews
F Brandon Rush
F Taj Gibson
C Nikola Vucevic
C Pau Gasol
BN Lance Stephenson
BN 273
BN 276
BN 278

After the last analysis, I decided to sacrifice a few of my assists and steals (bye bye Rubio) and address my FG%, boards, and blocks. I think Taj gives me enough blocks to not be completely dismal in that area, and his FG% will give me a minor bump. His FT% could be problematic, but I don't think he shoots many.
In replacing Rubio with Holiday, I think I've taken a minor hit in assists and steals (but not that many), for an increase in points, 3s, FG% (I believe holiday will shoot as well if not better than last season). I think his TOs could go down playing with a better team this year too.

I also addressed my needs by drafting two diamonds in the rough:
Brandon Rush: Here's a guy coming off an injury who looked to be the real deal at the beginning of last season. He's playing behind two unseasoned, young guys in Utah, and I fully anticipate he'll get enough minutes to produce. He can score, hit the 3 and rebound.

Lance Stephenson: He'll take a hit as a sub, but if he emerges as the 6th man, which many expect him to do, he could actually do better than last year, because he'll be leading the second unit, while also playing with the 1st unit. He'll give me fairly good points and steals, with good %s.

As for my last 3 picks, they'll likely be rotated in and out of my roster 4x a week until I find someone who will stick, or until I reach 45 adds, whichever comes first.

Note: My 8000th post. Celebrate with me

Reposting a roster for analysis. Seems desperate.

Thanks guys. Good to see the comments. I will start returning the favor with some of the complete teams (so I'll wait on wb, because half the fun is seeing what he pulls out for his bottom three picks). I definitely tanked on fg% and TOs.

On my end of bench guys, I'll say they were conservative picks with limited upside. One thing with Garcia is that I believe he'll be primary swing off the bench for Parson or Harden. After being traded there, he was the spot starter for either guy when there was an injury or illness, and he was a free agent that resigned with the Rockets. Not expecting a lot of minutes, but around 20. My expectations aren't high but enough to contribute a three every game, and always capable for a steal or block, and maybe 7 points. Blatche won't play a lot of minutes, 18-20, for a steal or block, 5 boards, and 10 points, and capable of being a spot starter.

Not sure how much wb expects from a 20 minute player but at that spot, Bayless should get 11 pts, 1.3 threes, 3 assists, and 1 steal, which is solid in a 20-team league for the 11th man on the roster.
