Re: Rate My OKC GMAT
I'd say trade Rondo for Westbrook
Ultimately what our team needs currently is a player that can create shots for himself coming off of the bench... I don't feel like your changes really address that. Also, with Rondo instead of Westbrook Durant is really the only player on the team that can score at an elite level, that's pretty bad for a championship hopeful.

Yeah, I don't know why so many people think we should trade Westbrook for a pass first PG so Durant can get more shots and score more. Westbrook's value to this team get's really underrated. We need his attacking/scoring style of PG since the rest of our offensive options outside of Durant are really limited. So someone like Rondo, who's only scoring 12-15 a game and has a broken jumper is supposed to be a better fit than Russ because he'll get Durant more shots?
I'm not real sure what a GMAT is, and how you got all the other players, but I like Hawes starting at C, and I really like the bench.

Said in a thread about which point guards would make OKC better if they replaced Westbrook:

Trading game with other realgm user. You start with a team roster and it's cap situation and draft+make trades.
basically rebuild your team with any type of trades you want. It probably cost him westbrook to get the bench + dump Perkins.

Yeah, I'm assuming that's why no Perk and Russ. Rondo's solid though if that's the product of dumping Perkins, the remaining roster is solid, Hawes would be somewhat of an offensive presence, so I'd say B (and I'd consider the current roster a B due to Perkins, so very good!).

Re: Rate My OKC GMAT
Wow.
So what should be done is a down grade in talent at point guard, while also taking a risk on an injured player who doesn't have a return date and taking the bench from a collection of young players to a menagerie of the NBA's most unwanted veterans. Targeting and acquiring Travis Outlaw, Richard Hamilton, Dahntay Jones, Trevor Ariza and Isiah Thomas, while keeping Derek Fisher to lead them is just an amazing feat. The ability to acquire Scola so that Collison moves out the rotation is an underrated bad move.
You managed to take one of the youngest rosters with emerging talent at every position with a top 5 rated offensive and defense and make us a middle of the pack team. And to top it all off you managed to ensure we pay the luxury tax for the privilege. Any time you have the opportunity to pay the luxury tax for a bunch of dead weight contracts you have to do it, right?
I'm not a fan of the GMAT team.

If we had kept Harden, Rondo would of been a better fit. Now that we lost Harden, Westbrook is a better fit.

You still have the issue that both players are better with the ball in their hands and their is only one ball. If Harden is running the offense what does Rondo do? Spot up? If Rondo has the ball then do you turn Harden into Kevin Martin? What's the point of that?
Both Rondo and Harden make the limited role players a little better, but I wonder if that is a necessary requirement for winning.

Lol, I hate myself for trading Russell and i'm desperately trying to get him back. The roster looks like this as of now:
PG: Tony Parker...Nate Robinson...Isiah Thomas
SG: Thabo Sefolosha...Richard Hamilton...Dahntay Jones
SF: Kevin Durant...Travis Outlaw...
PF: Serge Ibaka...Darrell Arthur...Udonis Haslem...Perry Jones
C: Nene...Chris Andersen...Tyrus Thomas

A GMAT means General Manage A Team. It's in the Trades & Transactions Sub-Forum, you should try it out next game or I might rune one off the 85-86 season. I got all the others through trades and signings. We use MLEs, TPEs, everything a GM does.
