When that championship squad held five teams in a row under 70 points, and the Nets began intentionally fouling in a blowout loss in an effort to snap the streak. When they did, I was pissed, but later on I realized how funny the moment was, and how dominant the Pistons were. They made the Nets an absolutely pathetic team on that night.

Within the last five years, my favorite moment was drafting Dre. I'm not always right with the draft (I thought Brandon Knight was a solid pick at the time), but I was convinced Drummond should've been a lock for a top-two selection. The only guy I thought even deserved consideration over Dre was Anthony Davis. And I knew Dre was supposed to go lower than that, but I was still in shock that he actually fell all the way to 9. When he did, I was on edge, not willing to let myself get too excited until the Pistons' pick was in. Damn, I was happy after that one. Dumars deserves credit there. It seems like an obvious choice now, but clearly it wasn't to those other front offices who passed on him at the time.
