1988 NBA Finals Game Six
It was a tremendously emotional game for me. That game stands as a monument to what it means to compete with heart and determination in the face of unbeatable odds.

Its not a moment, but the Bad Boys era talk reminded me of this little gem from the past.

Obviously, there are too many to name, but Joe going against the grain with the "boy scout/character" mold was the icing on the cake for our most recent...

Re: Favorite Piston Moment?
The championship moments have to top everything. Bill Davidson's speech was classic.

"Over the last couple weeks, there's been a lot of bullsh*t going on in this country...Let's start with the 8-to-1 odds on the Lakers to beat the Pistons. Bullsh*t!"
Tayshaun's block is up there, too. And Chauncey's 43-ft buzzer-beater, in that triple-OT loss to the Nets where Brian Scalabrine went off to seal it for them.

When that championship squad held five teams in a row under 70 points, and the Nets began intentionally fouling in a blowout loss in an effort to snap the streak. When they did, I was pissed, but later on I realized how funny the moment was, and how dominant the Pistons were. They made the Nets an absolutely pathetic team on that night.

Within the last five years, my favorite moment was drafting Dre. I'm not always right with the draft (I thought Brandon Knight was a solid pick at the time), but I was convinced Drummond should've been a lock for a top-two selection. The only guy I thought even deserved consideration over Dre was Anthony Davis. And I knew Dre was supposed to go lower than that, but I was still in shock that he actually fell all the way to 9. When he did, I was on edge, not willing to let myself get too excited until the Pistons' pick was in. Damn, I was happy after that one. Dumars deserves credit there. It seems like an obvious choice now, but clearly it wasn't to those other front offices who passed on him at the time.
