evans should play 10-15 mpg. he adds a ton of value, especially for us as we are a poor defensive rebounding team. evans should never ever ever ever start and play 30 minutes, but he is great in a limited minutes off the bench role. and it isnt just rebounds, he frustrates people, he defends better then mirza, and he draws his share of fouls., hsi hustle can be contagious as well
We were #12 in defensive rebounding last season and been crushing people on the boards this season.
Where do you get your stats?
tied for 14Th in DRB% with the hawks(73.6%) and 21st in defensive rebounds
ok, so maybe average/below average is more like it as opposed to poor. League average was 73.5 and defensive totals dont adjust for pace. Also, one of the reasons we werent even lower, is because evans was far and away the best defensive rebounder in the league (38.0

). even if you factor in stat padding, thats an insane number. 7.0 higher then asik, who was second and duncan who was third.
either way, we need the defensive rebounding more then the scoring. we have plenty of guys who can score(unlike last year, when it was clear mirza should have been starting).

We were #12 (tied with 2 others)
We were slightly above average.
Did you know you were inaccurate when saying we were poor?
And I apologize Draz, this isn't personal, but I have an issue of any fan of any team or player that has a clear agenda they seem fixated on and unwilling to relent on, even when given evidence to the contrary.
We were not a poor defensive rebounding team, but you claim we were. I'm not sure if you did it knowingly or not, but the fact I can present a stat/fact like this and you counter with a number like overall rebounds which you know has to be put into context (pace) seems like pure agenda driven tactics.
