How long did it take Ariza to start shooting jumpshots at a reasonable percentage? Is that how long it's going to take for Moe?

Wasn't really a time, it was just a contract year.
04-05: 31% <--- Rookie Season
05-06: 21% <--- Traded to Orlando at deadline
06-07: 31%
07-08: 28% <--- Traded to LA, missed most of the year
08-09: 35% <--- Contract year
09-10: 30% <--- Signed with Houston, back to reality
10-11: 29% <--- Houston saw enough, sent him to NO for C. Lee
11-12: 31%
12-13: 35% <---New Orleans trades him in a deal for Rashard Lewis's corpse. Couldn't start for a lottery team.

Last year was Ariza's only decent shooting year aside from the contract year. the common thread is that he was coming off the bench and had a ball dominant guard who didn't let him go all Nick Young on everybody. If Moe becomes this guy, I will be OK letting him walk.

what stat is this? Is this 3pt shooting or overall shooting outside of the basket area? The main area I'am concerned with is shooting outside of the basket area. Harkless was abysmal everywhere away from the basket last year, and frankly hasnt looked any different in the preseason.

Just my guess. I assume that if they all hit those numbers, we will be a lot better.

All Nick Young? The guy takes 10.9 shots a game per36 for his career, Harkless took 10.3 shots per36 as a rookie, we all know Harkless isn't out there shooting all day, you are talking like Ariza is out there just firing shots with no concience.

That's a prime example of what I was talking about earlier with people creating a picture in their head (positive and negative) that is exaggerated from reality.

Wasn't referring to his shot volume, but to the fact that he has horrible shot selection. I would be fine with him taking 20 shots per game if they were all good shots. Watching Ariza from the past four seasons is a clinic on how to take ill-advised jump shots.

lol I remember John Hollinger making fun of Ariza in his annual scouting reports, saying he takes at least one shot a game where he just pulls up early in the shot clock in fires it and names the shot "The Justifier": a shot he takes that justifies his contract with Houston lol

Now is probably the time to buy being the price is cheapest and one can lock in the seats they want. I talked to a rep about it, but I wanted one of (3) center sections in the upper bowl, but only wanted 1st row. Because, you have nobody in front of you and a great view of the court. Not as comfy as where I used to sit below with cup holders, but I like to lean on the railing in front of me in the upper level. Have fun. Been there, done that. I need more time to concentrate on new music projects that I am working on.

I am sure I will be back in there someday. I mean, I been to Shaq's and Dwights first NBA game, multiple playoff games, opening night of new arena etc etc. You don't just throw those things away. Just using money for other things for a while. Still saving for a nice Bugera Tri-Rec amp, then I need new Tubes for it plus pedals, eq and noise gate etc. Triple Rectifier amps rule. Taking a long break from Hip Hop to work on Metal, lol.
