Not the first time you've proposed this here. Do you actually see something in Randolph? Or is that just to balance rosters?

He told me that by the end of next season he wouldn't be surprised if Sullinger and Olynyk were the ONLY current Celtics STILL on the roster.
WOW. What the heck does that mean? Means Everyone else is dealt or expiring? Even Rondo?
I don't know about this.

Is a Sully - Olynyk frontline really tenable for a team looking to win a title? I would think you would want to keep one and trade the other to obtain a more athletic and/or defensive-minded big man (a SANDERS! or Asik-type player).
I still think it makes more sense to keep Rondo and look to trade the team's young players (including Sully and/or Olynyk), expirings, and draft picks for All-Star players to pair with him. (As in the last Big 3 era, you can always fill out the rest of the roster once your stars are set.) But I'll trust Ainge knows what he's doing here...

If people are dead set on trading Rondo, why not send him to Chicago.
That team to me is set to under achieve.
Rondo starts at the point and shifts Rose to the shooting guard spot, ala DWade.
I think Rose is better suited for that position anyways.
They would have the best backcourt in the league.
It instantly puts them in contender status.
They have a ton of desirable assets, They own Charlottes pick unprotected this coming year, plus they could give us their pick and some young players.

6-10, just turned 24 year's old over the summer.

Has the rare knack of being able to both block shots (4.4 Blk%) and hit the defensive glass (21.5 DReb%.) He is also adapt at creating turnovers (1.8 Stl%.)
He has a 7-3 wingspan and can get out on the break. I think he would be an excellent complement to both Olynyk and Sullinger. He is tied up in a cheap contract, as well.
I really want Chandler, however, but I gladly take Randolph, as well.

Love all your insight, DDB, but this just seems like someone's opinion, someone who doesn't have a very good feel about what Danny might do. Without giving away too much info (I know you can't anyway), how much do you trust this guy's opinion?
