Oh well. So much for you acknowledging your actions. Gave you too much credit. Feel sorry for the suckers that play cards with you. Cheaters cheat at everything.

was having a good run with my team thanks to some gems I got at the draft and free agent market. but now since Rose is gone, there goes the season out the window. Even if he was playing at a very low level, he probably would have had a top 30-50 season after all-star break.

oh well...

yeah, tough loss, sabonis. I've been rockin' DNP's and injuries pretty well with AK and Javalee and some scrubs who aren't playing. Got a bit of a boost with Hinrich now having an increased role. Saw that it was at your expense. Huge blow, despite Rose coming out of the gates slow, no doubt. But, your team without him is still better than most.

thanks.

I guess my team wasn't half bad after all. since I managed to be top 6 in the first 3 weeks of the season, even with the injuries of Ilyasova and Ryan Anderson. but now I don't expect my team getting into playoffs. We'll see.

To sort of turn that thought around, how long is it appropriate to wait before offering a player taken off the waiver wire in a trade? In a different league I picked up a player who I think fits another managers team better than my own and he has a player of about identical value that fits my team better than his. I just think since I just picked the player off the wire that it makes sense to wait a week or two.

Nets finish with a top2 record in the regular season: you win

i'll give you ties on the record if multiple teams are tied for 2nd and the nets are one of them.

done.

I fully realize I am jinxing myself, but it's crazy that the Nets are in 29th place right now.

I think I might have been a little bit off on that one.

Not feeling too devastated though, since I came up short to the guy I picked to win it all this year.

Though, I'm thinking that prediction was a bit off...

Got a question for you guys:
Do you think Deron Williams for Dalembert & Meeks is veto worthy in a 12 team league? Since Meeks will be garbage in 10 days, I think it is.

It's veto worthy because it's not equal value (long term) but I don't think you can conclude it's total collusion. It could be a panic move on the DWill owner not thinking that Williams will be right this season. And there's no guarantee that Kobe will not suffer a setback. In a 12-team league Meeks is definitely a short term starter, so when you look at DWill for Dally, it's one-sided, also adding to it is Dally's history of inconsistency and bone-headedness.

It is a terrible trade but looking a this year's stats it is not veto worth.

Deron is ranked 219 averaging a little over 9 points per game and less than one steal. His ranking have been getting worse and now he is injured. Dalembert has been his usual suprisingly good self. Meeks is waiver foder. If the guy is strong at point and weak at center i can see it. I wouldn't do it, but I can see it.

Really? Dalembert his " usual surprising good self"?! He's had 3 above average games, but the rest of the season he's been marginal at best (his last game he played 17 minutes and scored a whopping 2 points with 3 boards) and he just lost his starting job to Dejuan Blair. That deal reeks "veto". I'm just glad it didn't happen in this league.

Gasol brothers unite!

In other news: I now have too many guards. I'm offering up Wroten or Vasquez up for a forward or center.

He's hoping we think of Pierce of two seasons ago. I was offered the same for Bledsoe.
