Iman doesn't even look interested in the game anymore since the rumors started floating about him, he clearly has let it effect his game. His stroke on his shot while looking better hasn't produced better percentages yet. I understand that this offense isn't conducive to his game, but I was expecting a better season than this thus far.
How do you play hard for a team that doesn't want you? A team that has now tried to trade you at least 3-4 different times this season. A team that has also shown interest in trading you in the past for guys like Nash, Dudley, Reddick... etc.
Iman has nothing left for the Knicks. He played his heart our for this team whenever he could. Now he just seems defeated. I feel bad for the dude because he loves it here and he loves this team. Yet fans are giving him a raw deal not putting things into perspective. Cant just expect a guy to play to his fullest capabilities when he isn't put in a situation to succeed.
Not only is he not in a position to succeed mentally, but how the **** is he even supposed to take the next step with the roster that is on this team? When there are a bunch of other players that need to get their shots off . Shumperts Job is to play defense on this team and stand in the corners. Not exactly the best recipe for him to take the next step offensively.
