Never thought I would say this--but I wouldn't. I don't think D-Rose will ever go back to his old self unfortunately
I do it in a heartbeat. Helps the tank imensely to solidify a top pick for this season plus he's the youngest MVP in league history and if he even gets close to old form it's worth the risk. Worst case scenario we have his salary tied up in an injured player and that will propel the turbo tank even more
How many years do you want to tank for man?
Looks like most of the posters here want to tank for 3+ seasons. That's stupid IMO.
You want to build a winning culture. You tank this year and hope to land a top 3 pick.
Once you have that; you build around him, Demar and JV and use your capspace to land a solid PG and surround with veterans
I want to tank for this season and Next. That's all. No more no less. We have a pile of garbage on the books that comes off after next season like fields,Hayes,Camby's 4 mill and salmons 1 mill guaranteed. We get 1 more youngster to add plus we can make a splash in FA. All you guys beg for the tank but can't stomach it for more than 1 year. If your gonna do it half arse then don't bother. This is exactly why Masai had no problem taking camby and Hayes in them deals he's on a 2 year plan. I've got faith that's that's what's happening here.
