I'm a big Cousins guy. I've been on here preaching his gospel for the last several years now. Most talented offensive big to enter the game since the 90s IMO. And some of his skills are just about unprecedented. I can't think of any 270lb dude who's ever handled like him, and he's just flat nasty in there. He's off the national TV grid at the moment, but anybody who gets to see him play on league pass is in for a bit of a 90s throwback. Far more than Dwight has ever been, Cousins is that dominant center that just turns the entire paint into a giant rugby scrum. He posts up, teams double him, triple him, bodies start crashing to the floor in all directions, and he still scores. He's a beast in the old school meaning of the term.

James James though (James Harden / LeBron James hybrid)

What has he ever done that's unprecedented, other than get suspended over and over?
SacKingsPejaFan wrote:Uh assuming this post is about Demarcus Cousins, where are the geniuses that I argued with last year who said Cousins would never amount to anything because his shooting percentage sucked? The guys who only read box scores and don't watch games? The guys with no statistics education whatsoever who spout off their flawed, pea-brain metrics and have no response when I introduce a basic concept like variance? Right, sit down. DMC is shooting 50% now and averaging 22.5 and 10.5. And he's still getting triple teamed nightly. Take this as a lesson learned.

No player that size has ever handled the ball like he does. He's prone (sometimes overprone) to leading the break himself. He drops crossovers on guys and attacks the rim from the top of the circle like he's a guard. Once I saw him steal a ball in the open court, and beat Jeff Teague by dribbling it through his legs. Not Cousins's legs. Teague's legs. There have been a handful of PFs who could do some things like that, Barkley and Webber come to mind. But no 275lb centers, as in ever.

Because he averages 5 fouls per game per 36 minutes.

Yao Artest. A 7'6'' monster with the mentality of Ron Artest.
