Godgers wrote:I love James Jones. I also really like Boykins this year. I really hope we keep all our receivers. I even love Quarless at TE. I think Finely was way more talented but Quarless fits in better.

I like Raji and I feel he is playing out of position. Or maybe I'm wrong and he just is not good. I don't see how we can pay Raji unless he doesn't ask for that much.

I want to resign Shields. I love Shields. Even when he gets beat he is so dangerous because he can make up so much ground so fast.

Are you just pointing to different Packers and saying that you love them?

Yeah. Paying Rodgers and Matthews as much money as we did is going to end up costing us some players. Hopefully Boykin continues to ascend.

Hopefully they have to keep both Jordy and Cobb. With losing all they have, they need to start keeping some talent, now that Finley is almost certain to be done for his career.

“The referee was calling for the ball, and I refused to give it to him,” Williams said. “He might have asked me about four or five times, and I didn’t give him the ball. I saw Mike (McCarthy) running up the sideline and I knew we were going to try to do something.”

Super smart play by tramon btw, the refs were blatantly trying to steal the game from us by the end. Huge props to him for standing up for himself and his team and for simply being heads up. That may have won us the game, who knows, even with him holding the ball the upstairs ref still barely got the challange word down to the field before the next play was snapped. MM deserves credit too for calling the time out, I'm not used to him making decisive heads up decisions at the end of games in pressure situations...

Next year your going to have to wait till NYC central office to deem it changeable, then pass word along to the stadium referee, who passes word to the ref.

I like the idea of having the NFL challenge plays, but in situation of seconds this will never work. Coaches should have challenges if they have time outs. Hell if you don't have a TO under 2 min, have the coaches challenge with the risk of a 15 yard penalty.

I think the video from the Cowboys locker room would be equally entertaining.

I don't know how it will really make a difference between the booth and NYC. Is there even a noticeable delay?

Probably your communication device. Oh and also depending how they get the feed, a tape delay.

Don't watch much if any of college sports, so feel free to explain.

They have an official up in the booth who can designate any play at any time be reviewed they are just a replay official. They blow way fewer calls and it doesn't slow the game down at all and replays happen quicker and more efficiently than at the pro level.

The NFL should do the same, have one more official that is designated to determine if a play should be reviewed and do the reviewing. The officials on the field should not be able to review since their ego is involved no matter how good of an official they are.

Not only that, the college replay system usually is much quicker. It's all done up in the booth vs having a ref run across the field to look into a replay contraption. Sometimes in the college game, replays get done in under a minute. To often these NFL replay situations drag on forever.

fyi, packers-cowboys was one of the NFL Network games of the week, and it's about to be featured on Turning Point on the NBC sports channel.
