And the best thing: Brook Lopez is injured.

^ What happened? Did Lopez sprain his neck looking away from Pine's game thread?

@RealJasonKidd says Brook did everything, & is questionable for tomorrow.

Don't know what "everything" was...

Need Nene to make sure Blatche doesn't get to go into celebration mode tonight.
Or Booker or Ves or whoever.

Webster should start over Beal tonight...he has much better size to contend
with Johnson who just came off a monster game. His monster game could
cut either way though. It might give him (JJ) the freedom to keep chucking
even if it's not going in like it was on Monday.

Starting Webster should make it easier to keep Beal under 30 minutes
as well as allowing Beal to go more against less physical players than JJ.

No Brook Lopez and we might have Nene. This should be a win for us tonight.

Pine's game threads have become our secret weapon. But at what cost?

I do want to see Nene vs Blatche tonight.

Prediction:
- 25/25/25 game for Wall/Beal/Webster.
- Good guys by 8 in a shootout.
- Nene with 12/12 in 24 mins.
- Gortat bounces back in a big way. Something like 7/8 shooting.
- Nets shoot terribly but make up for it because our bench commits 20+ shooting fouls.
- Mediocre game by Porter that won't change any minds one way or another. Something like 2/5 shooting (one 3 and 1 fast break dunk and-1), 2-3 FT, 0 boards 1 assist in 12 mins.
- DNP-CD for Maynor for the 2nd straight game.

great game. Nets playing way better since D-Will has been back, JJ started playing great right before that. The backcourt matchup will be crazy good. Nets more confident then ever and now so will the Wiz be when they are healthy.

no way. Dont overthink things. Beal is a top notch player. You dont bench him because of size. Size also works both ways. Beal should be too quick for him.

Furthermore, dont forget that Pierce doesnt start anymore. Anderson does. He's a solid player but Beal can guard him if size is a problem and let Ariza guard Johnson. Thats what I expected anyways. Let Webster matchup with Pierce off the bench

If Lopez doesn't play this is very winnable. Kinda glad Joe got that stupid good quarter against another team. Ariza should be able to make things difficult for him.

Nets are playing much better after the D.Williams came back. Hopefully Wall will contend him on defensive end.
Wizards needs a win, time to come back to the range of .500. :D

Looking forward to the Nets catching and soon passing the Wizards for good in the Eastern Conference standing over the next week or so.

My prediction: The Wiz hand Brooklyn a loss and send their playoff dreams down a peg.

I'll also predict a Wizards loss. Blatche has his way with the scrub committee we have coming off the bench.

Baltche sucks ass, I predict he's going to get his shot blocked at least a dozen times.

Good point. Reading this at work makes me wonder which would be worse,
them thinking I was watching very soft porn at work or someone thinking I
actually thought those 'girls' were attractive.

Beal has been inconsistent and his PPA is lower than Webster. Webster IS more of
a 'top notch' player than Beal /right now/. 2 years from now I hope and somewhat
expect that to be different than it is right now. And I don't look at it as a benching
per se. Beal is still going to play and probably for about the same amount of time.
I just think Webster has the potential to defend JJ better than Beal does.

I wouldn't call that overthinking. I would call that drawing your conclusions from the
actual data, both their respective size and results to date.

But maybe as you say it won't matter because TA will guard JJ and let Beal take on
the lessor challenge.
