Like Dantown said, Aldridge is producing number's similar to his recent years in the league. Matthews, Batum's and Lillards improvements have also heavily contributed to the Blazers great season thus far.
Also the rumor was that Jimmy Butler would have had to be included, so that would have left two holes in our starting lineup.
Butler's inclusion was an assumption by K.C.. Even if it wasn't, you don't think Butler/Noah for a Top 3 PF is a good enough deal?
I mean, I always preferred Love over Aldridge, but still. I think we're overrating the value of some of our guys. I like Butler, but to this point he's pretty much an average rotation player.
I mostly agree but Jimmy hasn't had enough burn this year to really determine fully who he is yet.
I've always wanted Love over LMA as well.
A Noah swap for LMA would have been good and then I'm sure we cold have gotten Asik too. But we all know that it would have taken alot more to get LMA.
