Who in the funnk want to keep hearing about "what was done before".
I am not arguing AGAINST any coaches decision, none of us has behind the scenes access, well GT3 and a couple of others. I am commenting on what is said in FRONT of the cameras.
Here is my point about Mike. If he can help this team offensively, he should get minutes in every game he's healthy and able to play. His defense is night and day from before.
p.s. I did not read you complete post, just the highlights...Mike has not DEMANDED ANY MINUTES, and by you mentioning Min/Phx - I'd hate for you to be MY coach.....if we resigned him to give him another chance, THEN DAMIT, GIVE HIM another chance..not fair to keep bringing up old sh@t
He's still in the dog house because he has yet to prove to be a consistent and reliable force in this league. It's a shame he hurt his hamstring, because otherwise this discussion wouldn't even take place. My point is and still stands that it shouldn't be a given for him to be in the rotation, as you alluded to. Again, the guy is not some proven great player and prior to getting hurt, he's seen more than enough minutes and, contrary to your belief, his defense wasn't as good as you make it to be. He played with a lot of energy, which is to be expected in limited minutes, but that doesn't mean he always defended well.
As a team defender, I still like Lewis better than Beasley.
But I'll give this a rest, the Beasley crew in here is getting even more ridiculous than in his rookie/2nd year with us.
