Which is so bad...why? The chances are that anyone that would replace him wouldn't be any better.

I'm pretty sure Hollins would be much better. We just hired Potato head without even interviewing other coaches. Look how terrible his rotations are, how outdated his defense Is or how about the fact that he get's out coached on a daily basis.

And Lionel Hollins is so perfect? He got let go. In almost every case, the coach is only as good as their roster.

Which was a huge mistake IMO. Let me know when Brown stops preaching that horrible hard hedging defense that constantly leaves 3 point shooters open every game. We could have at least interviewed someone before jumping to hire Brown like he's Phil Jackson.
"Under Hollins, the Grizzlies also featured one of the NBA’s best defenses. Memphis allowed the fewest points per game this season, with the 89.3 points the first time since 2005-06 that a team had held opponents below 90 points for an entire season. The Grizzlies also ranked third, holding opponents to 43.5 percent shooting and a league-best 33.5 percent made field goals a game."

Again, mediocre coaches like him and Brown or only as good as their roster. They bring some good and some bad. And you're a complete fool if you think Brown doesn't bring some good on defense. And now you're acting like Hollins would have more success? If I'm not mistaken, we're 14th in defensive efficiency this year and were bottom 5 last year. Our roster is much younger and simply much worse than what Hollins had in Memphis. It's not like Tyler Zeller would turn into Marc Gasol and TT into Z-Bo just because Hollins shows up. Don't be ridiculous.

And I don't think you have any idea what you're talking about. Say what you want but you would just end up disappointed with any other coach too. The coach is only as good as his roster. This team is mostly garbage on defense, Mike Brown has brought improvement which, again, is literally a fact.

I'm not about to sit here and just ignore the fact that Brown's defensive system Is outdated and flawed as hell. I could care less about being a top 15 defensive team when It doesn't translate into wins. His rotations and overall decision making Is freaking terrible. It's only so much blame that can go to the players. If a head coach can't make the right adjustments during a game then he shouldn't be coaching at all. Like I said give this young team a hard nosed coach who demands respect and we wouldn't be in this situation right now. I guess you're a fan of a coach who Is willing to give minutes to a guy who Is constantly killing our ball movement(Jack) over a guy that brings intangibles like Delly.
