What?
2011 2.6
2012 2.7
2013 2.8
If you are talking about A/T ratio, he's ranked #121 in the league. He's #53 in assists per 48 among PG's, so that makes him worse than every starter and nearly every backup. The fact that this is an improvement for him just shows how badly he sucks at playing pg.
Only taking in raw averages doesn't tell the whole story:
Turnover percentage (an estimate of turnovers per 100 plays)2011-12: 17.1
2012-13: 17.6
2013:14: 14.6
See, improvement.
Simply looking at the number of turnovers Knight gets each game doesn't take into account the significant increase in touches he's getting with the Bucks either:
Usage percentage (an estimate of the percentage of team plays used by a player while he was on the floor)2011-12: 21.7
2012-13: 22.8
2013-14: 26.7
Furthermore, Knight has also significantly improved his assist rate this year too:
Assist percentage (an estimate of the percentage of teammate field goals a player assisted while he was on the floor)2011-12: 20.8
2012-13: 21.3
2013-14: 28.7
So for him to be getting more touches, and for a higher percentage of those touches to end as assists on buckets for his teammates, and for a lower percentage of his touches to end up as turnovers, that's definitely an improvement.
It's such a fine line between stupid and clever.
