sure his rehab process has been hard, but this was his choice. He could have retired and just be chilling on the beach or playing rec league soccer. None of what he's enduring right now is necessarily forced upon him. I still contend that he's had it pretty good, having had a fulfilling pro career and made way more than enough money to retire comfortably when he decides to do so. He's accomplished virtually everything a pro athlete could dream of, is a hero for countless fans. Can't feel too bad about that when it's all said and done.

i you ever played basketball, truly loved it, you can understand what this clip is talking about. the point is, it is tough(thats an understatement) to accept the fact that you can no longer participate at that level and enjoy the game you love. to let go so important part of your life. its not about the limelight, the show. its about the game.
