I've decided today that I'm a Jacque Jones fan. It's not his fault that he keeps getting playing time even though he sucks.

If we win today and tomorrow I will be the first poster to make 3 game threads in-a-row against 3 different teams.

Honestly I haven't been this mad watching a Cubs came... in well... maybe forever. I can't recall a situation where we were getting more consistently screwed over in a series than this. Tonight has been horrible. I still can't even imagine a reason why they would have made the decisions they made when Lilly was booted. You all know the facts... so there is no need to recap them. I am so freakin' pi$$ed right now.

Rentaria (for that slide into second) deserves to get knocked out. Not kidding.

Lou: How do you know he threw at him?

Ump: I was waiting for it!

BAM! That shows he was expecting it... and therefore cannot make any kind of impartial decision. That ump should be fined or suspended for that. Terrible job. Call the game based on what you can see and what you know to be fair.

How is that any different than when Soriano got drilled?

Terrible job by the umpire crew. Maybe the worst I have ever seen... and honestly that is saying A LOT.

Soriano not running hard. Gets thrown out by Renteria.

What a joke.

And JJ is 0-2.
He hasn't gotten a hit in like 20 at-bats in-a-row now.

I'm still pissed enough that I would deck any Brave (besides John Smoltz) right now. Sure, whoever I hit may beat the hell out of me, and many of them would... but I'm still that ticked off.

Complete garbage.

Barrett shuts the Braves up.
The crappy Cubs could go 5-2 against them this season.

Return to Chicago Cubs
