It's probably best to sit him for this one. LeBron will tear him apart and shatter what little confidence (if any) he has left.
I guess this is just what we'll have to put up with every time Porter doesn't hit two big three point shots during his rookie campaign.
Porter provided defense that game. He isn't the type of player to force things on offense so it doesn't bother me if he doesn't score much his first year. Will bother me more if he once again becomes a forgotten man in Wittman's rotation. He didn't do anything in his last two games that should cause him to fall completely out of favor with Wittman.
Seems Randy has very little understanding or appreciation for momentum.
Wall killed the momentum with poor play stating at the end of the 2nd. Shoot selection, turnovers, and uninspired D are huge momentum killers. Wall did a little of all three.
When things went South in the third, Randy made no adjustments. He stuck to his regular rotations and waiting for the clock to tell him when to substitute instead of the game telling him.
Adding solid vet play like Gooden can help. So can adding a hungry energy defender that can create steals and get out of position rebounds like Otto. Which is basically what Ves gave them. And since Randy never understood how and when to use Ves, I doubt he will understand the same about Otto.
