I really don't like picks 9-14. I think i said that somewhere else. That said, in Hinkie I trust!
Right now, I'm hoping either..
1.) Someone slips because people starts selecting team needs over BPA.
2.) Hinkie will pull a "MCW" move where he'd select a guy where most GM can't look past his flaws.
Because right now, like you said, picks 9-14 sucks. And that's also the reason why I don't want to talk or even do a research about Vonleh because comparing Vonleh to a guy like Cauley-Stein is pretty depressing.
For now, realistic BPA options at the Pels' pick for me are..
Tier 1: Kyle Anderson and Tyler Ennis (most promising with low downside)
Tier 2: Doug McDermott (enigma for me. High risk high reward for me.)
Tier 3: Jusuf Nurkic (safe but low ceiling)
Tier 4: Cauley Stein, Cappela and Gary Harris (potential back-ups)
In the end I think Hinkie will go with Kyle Anderson. He really feels like the "MCW" of this year's draft where people will focus on him being unathletic and not being a good shooter. Then you go a little bit back, and remember how Hinkie and co. made that pick for Royce White? Royce and Kyle plays almost the same way.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.
