If worthy is healthy there's no way he doesn't make the team IMO.
If he looks as crappy in mini-camps and training camp as he did in his rookie year, i could see Worthy getting cut.
I remember Ron Wolf in his book saying that one of the hardest lessons he had to learn as a GM was to admit to himself when he made a mistake with a higher draft pick or free agent signing and let a player go if it's in the best interest of the team.
Of course it's certainly possible that Worthy will play better in camp this year and deserve to be on the roster, but if not, Ted has to suck up his pride as he did with Brohm and cut ties with Worthy.
That's alittle premature on Worthy isn't it? Regardless of training camp and that entire process, Worthy has in game on field production under his belt. The Packers know what he can do when fully healthy hence why I said if he's cleared and 100% id bet money he has a roster spot.
I'll just use Justin Harrell for example because it's easy. How many years was he kept around on IR and on the roster? Ron Wolf was definitely right but every GM is different in terms of self pride and it's pretty obvious TT thinks pretty highly of himself (as he should), but, it took him a long long time to cut ties with Harrell without ever seeing any substance so I'm gonna believe Worthy isn't in danger of losing his spot yet.
Maybe u don't think Worthy is good and u personally want him gone? Idk, seems that way. I'm actually a fan of Worthy and think he can be a very good DL for us. If he can stay healthy he has loads of value. TT won't bite his nose off despite his face by prematurely cutting Worthy and him being successful elsewhere. Positions play huge parts in terms of potential success. QBs aren't hard to tell, they get it or they don't. Brohm simply didn't and it was very noticeable, not exactly a difficult decision. Worthy might actually have something and if he stays on the field he's an asset. He fits the scheme and profile.
