Probably something simple.. but it goes like one foot then gets stuck on that sound. I greased up the track, but all that did was stain my hands.
Depending on the belt/drive system, grease could be bad. Grease and dirt can get into a tract and fill the grooves, causing it to slip (sounds like whatever gear is turning is hit the a the track over and over like a playing card on a bike spokes).
Source: some idiot technician greased the tracks of an cmm machine at work and it still does this from time to time to this day.
