you can dominate a game without scoring points. kidd used to do it all the time. he killed us with his energy, his work on the glass, intimidating us inside, forcing us into bad shots, preventing us from finishing at the rim.

anyone who watched that series and didnt come away with noah dominating us wasnt paying attention

Except that Kidd dominated because he could get the ball to anyone under any circumstances which negated many defensive schemes by opposing coaches. He did so while guarding the opposing teams best perimeter player. Noah is a great passer and all but he isn't nearly as great as leading a team on the offensive end, which is how Kidd dominated in the half court.

All you mentioned regarding Noah had more to do with the s****y spacing this team had by playing two non-factors at the same time. Lopez had his way with the bulls in 5 of the 7 games. Yes he was thoroughly outplayed in game 6 and 7, but he had his way with Noah the first 5 games. The very same Noah that averaged 11.5 on 43% shooting for the series and allowed Lopez to average 22.3 on 47%. Lopez was far from perfect in that series, but people's opinions get so clouded because they seem to only remember game 7. Noah wasn't the reason they went up in the series, Nate Robinson was.

And you think Noah is still going to have those advantages going up against KG? You really think he can outwork KG on the glass (who has statistically been the best defensive rebounder in the NBA, the best rebounder on this team, and hasn't rebounded the ball this well since his Minnesota years)? You really think he's going to bring more energy than KG? You really think he can intimidate KG? You don't think KG is going to force THEM into bad shots and prevent THEM from finishing at the rim?

Noah didn't dominate us until like the last 2 games. He was playing like trash before that.

I'm more scared of Boozer than Noah.

Noah dominated that series because he could outwork Brook on the glass and our spacing was so terrible that he didn't have to leave the paint. He would gladly give up an 18-footer to Brook Lopez before leaving the paint for a second. They didn't respect our shooting in the least.

If Noah and the Bulls can survive against us while playing 48 minutes with one foot in the paint, I'll tip my hat and congratulate them. The reality is if they try to defend us anything like they did last year, we're going to make 15 3s a game.

Our centers struggle more against bulky, giant centers. Noah is not a physical monster. Our guys can keep up with him and our team is long and active enough to shut down his passing game. No doubt in my mind.

Can't wait to make a nice bet with the fearful Prok if we end up facing the Bulls.

He offensively produced in the biggest game while also punking Lopez. I'm scared to death that we have to play against this guy tbh

Rest for what? He's played the fewest minutes in his career this season. He's far from being burned out.

You quoted the wrong post.

And he sure as hell looked tired tonight. Pierce is playing PF now...28 minutes at PF is different than 28 minutes at SF. It takes a lot more out of him.

MDB was talking about Noah.
SamIam 2010: Truth's ability to play so incredibly efficiently is so UNDERAPPRECIATED. Bballcool 2012: Amazing how great Pierce has been for so long. Continues to defy age! KG 2013: P is original Celtic. Wherever he goes, we go. This is The Truth's house.

no where not. we might have 1 or 2 games where we do. but overall, we wont because their defense is that good. and they can defend the 3 because we dont have any threats at the rim other then plumlee. anyone who thinks we even have an outside chance of beating the bulls is completely delusional. we should be hoping to avoid a sweep.
