you can dominate a game without scoring points. kidd used to do it all the time. he killed us with his energy, his work on the glass, intimidating us inside, forcing us into bad shots, preventing us from finishing at the rim.
anyone who watched that series and didnt come away with noah dominating us wasnt paying attention
Except that Kidd dominated because he could get the ball to anyone under any circumstances which negated many defensive schemes by opposing coaches. He did so while guarding the opposing teams best perimeter player. Noah is a great passer and all but he isn't nearly as great as leading a team on the offensive end, which is how Kidd dominated in the half court.
All you mentioned regarding Noah had more to do with the s****y spacing this team had by playing two non-factors at the same time. Lopez had his way with the bulls in 5 of the 7 games. Yes he was thoroughly outplayed in game 6 and 7, but he had his way with Noah the first 5 games. The very same Noah that averaged 11.5 on 43% shooting for the series and allowed Lopez to average 22.3 on 47%. Lopez was far from perfect in that series, but people's opinions get so clouded because they seem to only remember game 7. Noah wasn't the reason they went up in the series, Nate Robinson was.
