No idea. I am only looking at how he stacks up against other NBA players since there seems to be some dispute as to how good he is right now, relative to other NBA players.
And while he is certainly young he has played significant minutes from day 1. He hasn't been in the same situation as Otto.
But since you brought it up he seems to be in the same ballpark as the other wings in his draft class (Waiters, Lamb, Ross) who haven't played as many minutes as he has. Obviously he is younger though.

^The same, but for players under 20.
And keep in mind, this includes Beal's recent three game slump when he shot 1-16 from 3pt.
Does this mean he's a great player? No, not at all. But he projects to be elite in at least one area that's actually measurable.
So for those of you who like to focus on what players do well: Beal shoots the three quite well, historically well for a player his age.
I revised it a little, minimum 1000 mp and minimum 1 3PA/G. It's a really short list now.

Yeah, though out of a pool of few players. Since basically 1999. Fewer than 80 in total so it's tough to suggest that he's historically great since it is only during the era of one-and-done that we've had many young players playing heavy minutes against which to compare him.

Playing significant minutes has probably hurt Beal's #s and ranking among SGs. Very few NBA players have been asked to play the minutes or the major role that Beal has played in his first two years...and at the ages of 19 and 20.

At times Beal has been overworked but I think most people would agree more playing time is helpful to young players. Players generally develop faster on the court than on the bench.
I also think Beal has benefited from playing with a pass first pg who can break down defenses. Playing with me first pgs like Irving/Westbrook has probably worked against Waiters/Lamb.

Beal has been inefficient all season and has awful shot selection. He has killed us on so many possessions with great regularity. Comparing ONLY his three point shooting stats vs a random subset of competition is completely arbitrary and proves nothing.
But even though it's an indisputable fact that he's been mediocre this season, I still think he's going to be an awesome player because he has a ton of potential and is only 20 years old. I love Beal. He is awesome. Still, he isn't playing very well this year.
