Sterling is not Israeli and has little connection with Israel himself.
To state that "he shares a thought process many Israelis hold" is making the same kind of inherent stereotypical generalizations that Sterling made about African Americans and Hispanics.
He justified his racism by stating the environment in Israel which has long had an issue regarding the treatment of Black people. You can sweep this under the rug if you'd like but there is a problem in Israel. I will not argue this further as this can derail the thread.
He justified his racism in many different ways and none of them made any sense.
There is a problem of discrimination in Israel just like there is a discrimination problem in nearly every country that exists today.
It is not institutionalized against blacks and it is not part of the law as you mistakenly made earlier. The country has a separation of powers system under a parliamentary government that provides equality under the law and the ability to fight discrimination in court.
To assert these claims simply on a statement made by Sterling is making the same kind of stereotypical generalizations about minorities.
Not every country in the world can arguably be called an Apartheid state like Israel.
Anyway, to the topic, if this does not result in his ouster from the NBA, then I don't know what will. No player will ever, play for Donald Sterling again. And to think this guy was weeks away from receiving an award from the NAACP
