He has long arms!

I know you meant that somewhat facetiously. But having a physical advantage over your opponent is meaningful. Having a five inch wing advantage over a similar player means a lot. Wingspan is as important as height. When its height its never a question. People get that.

Yea i was being facetious with my comment....I know Wingspan and physical advantages are meaningful.
Actually using those advantages in games is another story tho.

I have some serious concerns on Young's defense....his effort was poor, his instincts were poor, his understanding on defense was poor,he didn't rack up steals or blocks and overall was a pretty poor defender.
I know he has the physical tools to technically be a good defender, but so do Nick Young,JR Smith and Jamal Crawford....depending on who we take with our 1st pick would determine my level of interest in Young.

I think theres a decent amount of wing depth in this draft...not sure id spend a top 10 pick on a one way, volume shot, offensive player like Young, who despite having "upside" doesn't do much THAT much better than a majority of the other perimeter prospects in the same range.

Saric is rising on this board. A week ago, KOVA said he was stronger than Larry Bird but no jump shot. Now he can shoot and lead men through mud trenches. Next week, his wingspan will increase by one foot. Let's give Saric #9. He's on the move!
“This may be one of the best jobs in basketball right now,” Colangelo said at a press conference introducing him as the new GM of the 76ers after Sam Hinkie resigned.

My dislike for saric has been noted In the past but I've come around on the kid.

Still have question marks on him translating, but what he did this year can't go unnoticed.

Saric and Nurkic are guys being talked about on the Celtics board right up with Vonleh and Gordon.

Excellent, hopefully they take one way to high and bump the other guys to us :)
