What makes you think that? There's a long list of examples where athletes publicly denying things they've done that were worse than this, at least from a legal perspective. Sure the story could be false, but PG publicly denying it doesn't do anything to sway me to believe he's innocent.

Right. Because it's not an "epic disaster" already. The train is already off the tracks and burning. Throwing gasoline on it at this point makes little difference. PG doesn't deny it, people take it as a silent admission of truth. PG denies it, Hibbert chooses to say it's true, PG's situation changes little. Low risk/low reward.

Normally, the situation can be just put off as some lame gossip and ignored. But the stats speak for itself. There is absolutely no logically reason Roy should be getting 0 points and 0 rebounds in such a big game. He is literally too damn tall to not have a single rebound.

Only a significant distraction could cause something like this, and infidelity involving your wife and teammate definitely would be a proper reason to cause this.

when i heard, i initially posted in Pacers board to find out, and I got the tweet from PG. So far, all it is, is a rumor.

If true, just sad and terrible garbage from a teammate to do. No player should go through such turmoil.

Side note, it could be something family related that hasn't been leaked yet, that isn't fidelity. Maybe a death in family?

Interesting that PG and others were so willing to imply Lance was the main chemistry issue.

If they were trying to rug sweep for the sake of the team, then Lance putting it all out there in front of everyone, I could see why some on the team blame him for stirring the pot.

It's actually more interesting to me that Hibbert hasn't tweeted anything. If George is innocent and more importantly his wife, then Hibbert is sure letting their reputations take a beating online by not saying anything at all.

I'm sorry, but people lie all the time. Just look at Armstrong and the lies upon lies he put out there with no regard to all the lives and careers he was destroying the process. You see people like him, and it makes a silly little denial on Twitter seem like child's play.

Again, not stating that Paul George did do what this gossip article is proclaiming, but lets not be naive about people in the spotlight making denials just to save face and to protect their public image.

Whether it's true or not, I'm done talking about it, it makes me feel icky to even think about the fact that I've actually put thought into gossip magazine trash.

Not sure about the validity of "Baller Alert", but in general I don't pay news from IB Times much mind. The guy literally calls the source "Baller Alert" in one paragraph and "Baller Mail" in the next. This would hold a lot more weight coming from a TMZ (which honestly blows my mind to say, but is the reality at this point).
