this would honestly curb my interest in the raptors.
sign KD if you want a star, wait till Wiggins is a star and sign him.

but please no james

KD is the second best player in the NBA, and the only difference between he and lebron is defence, strength and efficiency. Kd will most likely not gain 20lbs+ ever, but his efficiency and defence CAN improve just as good. So having either one would be nearly the same. So you want KD.. but not LeBron.. you're out of your mind, i would pick lebron over anyone in the NBA in a heartbeat.

You want to beat lebron but not have him on your team, im guessing you hate lebron.. why?

always seemed like a butt to me.
hate his drama, ridiculous decision, the way he thinks of himself as the best and everything else about him.
even think he looks dumb. Hate that guy.

honestly to me this would be like thanos joining the avengers or something stupid like that.

in my eyes lbj is the villain of the NBA, he even has 2 cronies.

There's a lot more then that between kd and lbj as well.
kd has better offense, shooting and more weapons but lacks post up,and lebrons passing though he isn't a bad passer.
he is also faster.
but if he put on muscle he'd slow himself down so he's good the way he is.

We should be making a run. There's absolutely nothing to lose. It's not like LeBron needs any leverage; he's getting the maximum regardless.

Toronto is actually one of the better choices he could make. We have a young and up coming team, are located very close to his home town, and play in a weaker conference where we'd immediately be favourites if he signed. This team would be a lot better than his Cleveland team.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

Gosh... As much as a championship banner would be nice; LeBron being on the Raptors team that does so would be like selling the teams soul. I've frowned on his character so much I just couldn't see myself cheering for him even in a Raptors jersey.

I feel this way too. But I think I would change my mind after a few monster alley oops.

Never gonna happen, toronto isn't a "big enough market" for someone like LeBron

Sorry, I didn't hear it and haven't seen anything yet a few pages in.....anything credible that says he is actually interested in playing here?

The fact he would entertain the notion seems to good to be true.

Maybe front office is telling our media to say stuff like this to keep the casual fans interested.

It would be absolutely amazing if he did come here. What's the chance we're talking about though? 5% maybe?

Still it would be the biggest move in Toronto sports history and it wouldn't even be close.

Lebron to toronto would be epic. I feel the odds are better with KD. Either would be awesome. Both would be a dynasty forever*. *barring injury, as long as they're on the same team.
I believe in Masai.

LeBron isn't coming here, but the guy played in Cleveland and then chose south beach over Chicago and two new York teams - I don't think market size is a draw. I'd believe more that it was actually a negative for him.

LeBron to Toronto is not happening on so many levels, I don't even know where to begin.

His team is dismantling the Brooklyn Nets so he's gonna think to himself, "Yeah, I want to go to a team that blew game 1 on their home floor and got down 20 to these creaky, overrated has-beens with a game 7 on their home floor."

He's 30. At his age, does he want to waste two or three years of his prime mentoring a young team and showing them how to win, or does he want to play with established vets and make runs at championships every year, challenge MJ's 6?

His wife has some juice bar business in Miami and they have a family, why would they want to leave that behind and uproot the kids for a freezing winter and a foreign country that gets more viewers for a hockey game between the Winnipeg Jets and the Minnesota Wild than the Raptors?

The guy has a huge ego, he loves the spotlight and media coverage, and he'll never get as much in Toronto as he could as in the States, it's just a fact, deal with it.

I'm born-and-bred Torontonian and a huge Raptors fan since the days of the immortal Sharone Wright, Oliver Miller and Reggie Slater, so I'm not hating on the team or the market or anything, but come on, move on and get real, people. Let's re-sign Lowry, focus on getting some good backup center that can block shots and make a run at Deng or something.

LeBron James ain't walking through that door.
