As Love has reportedly already indicated that he wants to go to Chicago or GS, aren't those really the only two teams that matter? I mean the Cavs best offer if they thought they could re-sign him will be very different than their best offer if they think they can't.

Nope, Cavs should make an offer and base that offer on the information that they have.

Based on current information - Cavs offer TT and No. 9.

New Rule:
If you're going to list a 1st or 2nd as an asset, you should have to say the exact number that the 1st or 2nd will be.
The 1st pick in the draft is a 1st. The 30th pick in the draft is also a 1st. They're both 1sts, but they have wildly different value.

There is no way the Rockets will get Kevin Love without including Chandler Parsons. None.
But do you know what they call a fool, who's full of himself and jumps into the path of death because it's cool?

"Reportedly"
Other reports say he likes New York or LA.
Others say he hasn't asked out at all.

Before the Sterling fiasco, I would have believed LAC. I have no reason to doubt that he'd like to play for Chicago or GS.

Neither do I. I also have no reason to doubt that he'd like to play for LAL, Boston, Houston, Phoenix, OKC, or any of the other top playoff teams.

Re: Kevin Love - Every team's best offer
Philly does Noel and #10 for Love and #13
Basically a Love-Noel swap where Minny gets a slightly higher pick as well. ***Thad could be thrown in as well.
Philly then tries to sign..... LEBRON

No they don't. Seriously - Waiters isn't going anywhere unless Love indicates he'll sign an extension with the Cavs. That trade could ruin the franchise for a decade if he walks next year.

LOL....you talk like Cleveland is on the cusp of something great. Cleveland is dangerously close to overpaying average players ala Detroit.

Re: Kevin Love - Every team's best offer
Dallas declines to make an offer.
Not because we wouldnt have interest, tho he's hardly the best pairing with Dirk, but because our offer would have to be primarily about eating longterm contracts. And no way Minny wants to use Love to dump salary without getting a top notch asset back and we obviously don't have that.

Put Tristan Thompson in instead of AB if you like.

I don't want to jack this thread but within two years Waiters may prove to be the best player currently on the Cavs roster.

I would not make this offer, and Presti wouldn't either, but for the sake of trying to get the value down, OKC offers Ibaka, Lamb, 29 for Love.

Don't think Orlando would make an offer either. We wouldn't give up much because he wants to be in the spotlight in a big market. Don't really need more stars bolting to LA.
