I'd prefer trading Barnes over Klay, but Steph/Iggy/Barnes (or Green

Jason Thompson, Travis Outlaw and Jason Terry to Detroit
-Saves $7 Million up front to spend this off-season and $30 Million long term.
Deron Williams to Sacramento
-Adds a stable veteran point guard.
Josh Smith and Brandon Jennings to Brooklyn
-Trades D-Will without tanking.
So the Nets and Kings get starting caliber players but all we get is bench players(Outlaw and Terry are trash now). I can't see the Pistons doing it. We're not really hurting in the cap space department either.
You're against every Smoove trade that I can remember. He LOST games last year. He is older than the core. His fit here is highly questionable.
Jennings for Jason Thompson is fine. Possibly flat-out good. Possibly for both teams.
Turning Smoove into 2 expirings while opening up summer cap? That is GREAT. Terry and Outlaw might even be bought out, but the extra cap could land us a nice player like Hinrich or Dunleavy or Ariza.
Detroit will have 2 max bigs in 2 years and KCP/Singler/8th/GuyWeTradeFor will need raises sooner or later.
There is no team in the league that can spend intelligently with the reason being that "we're not really hurting in the cap space department." It makes more sense to say Smoove is our new Villanueva - that he loses games by being on the roster.
). Ariza was only good because he's playing for a new contract. And Smith is no where near the caliber player CV was. That's just silly man.

This is one of the worst arguments I've heard in my whole life. I don't know how you can't be ashamed. Well, I know but I don't want to be banned again

Honestly its not worth it man, their are plenty of other quality posters on here.If you ignore long enough, people will move on

I would definitely be in favor of this trade. Of course, Houston is gunning for Kevin Love right now, so they wouldn't even entertain this deal until after Love's situation is resolved.
Nice proposal.

But apparently Houston want to try and get Melo or Love this off-season...

Agree with you, he said he was 33, a 33 years old man never start an infinite discussion with a young dennis rodman brain. It's obviously he's a young nerd.

Morey looks hell bent on getting a 3rd star though. Whilst Houston were apparently interested in Josh during FA, I doubt that Morey sees him as a 'star'.
ocellatus921 wrote:Maybe they don't see him as a star. but when they don't get Love or Melo maybe they'll want Smith. The Rockets have to make a change if they want to make it out of the 1st round.

No contracts back - pure cap space for Detroit

SVG might be right -- we may need to showcase him, with a real defensive system, playing off the bench, and then move him on. Or, maybe we can get something decent now if we look for the right deal.

Not really bro. I remember I agreed with these trades involving Smith:
Smith for Rudy Gay
Smith for Jeff Green
Smith for Hayward(I forgot the entire deal)
Why waste cap space on Hinrich, Dunleavy and Ariza when they all suck(). Ariza was only good because he's playing for a new contract. And Smith is no where near the caliber player CV was. That's just silly man.
