Heard about it from a FB page... Again, take it with a grain of salt.
It's on the ticker. They just hope to re-sign him after going after a max free agent, and I'm pretty sure he wants to be there, but we could go after him as a restricted free agent.
I think they would be more hesitant to match a big offer than Utah would on Hayward, but I don't know if people here would want him.
I'm pretty fine with Tucker for now and developing rookies for the future. Hopefully we get a couple good wings in the draft. I'd be happy with any two of Stauskas, Harris, Young or Early. I'm a little lower on Warren and Hood, but wouldn't mind McDermott.
Most all of those first four guys can hit the 3 and slash to the basket. Goodwin is more of a guy that gets to the basket for now. These guys are still behind Green as rookies, but if Bledsoe (or Dragic) goes down and Green starts, these guys (or Goodwin) could come off the bench at the 2. Young or Early could be long term 3s to come off the bench or start in a few years if they progress enough behind Tucker and/or replace Morris.
Unless we can get Vonleh (or maybe Payne if all those guys above are gone), I'd stick with our 4s for now and/or maybe go for one in a trade (Milsap?). I read today that many teams (including Atlanta) would trade for a 2nd lottery pick. Doubt they'd trade Horford for just the 14th but I'd offer it and something else for Millsap (obviously I'd offer this stuff for Horford but I think they'd quickly decline).
