How's Tristan Thompson developed since the draft?

Utah would not trade their #5 for Waiters or Thompson, but most Jazz fans value them ( and your PG ) and would take them in a trade.

Please suggest any good trade ideas with the Jazz.

If the Cavs trade Waiters to the Lakers, I'll be heart broken. If the Cavs trade Waiters, my plan is to root for whoever he's traded to and I just can't root for the Lakers.

Jajwanda, looks like you found a home for Nash.

Honestly, Favors is the only player on the Jazz for whom I would surrender anything of value.

Just thinking about the fact that this Draft could be the best draft in a log time. With this in mind does anyone think the Cavs could trade Dion and TT for the 2 or 3rd pick?

If we could we could upgrade at the 2 and the 4 or the 2 and the 5.

I love Dion's upside and can't stand TT but does anyone else think trading to okay today players to Mil or Philly?

Remeber all those DIon for Crap trades ? If that interest was genuine maybe we could getthe 3rd pick for those to guys. Thoughts?

Generally, it's rare that adding guys together gets you a better pick. Usually, if one guy won't get you the pick, adding the two together won't get it for you.

Either way, I can't imagine either guy getting you another top 3 pick. Maybe not top 5. But after the top tier? Yeah, it's possible. Not crazy either.

I think we will upgrade at the 5 with our pick, and I do not see a potential upgrade at SG, outside of Wiggins if someone chooses to play him there. I am not opposed to moving Thompson, but if anything, I think you look for a SF who will compliment this roster. GSW's roster is full of PFs, otherwise there might be some legs to a Thompson/Barnes swap.

No I was thinking the lineup of Kyrie, Wiggins, Maybe Deng, Parker and MAybe Hawes or
Kyrie Wiggins, Maybe Deng, Bennett and J Embiid would be the upgrade at two spots in the starting five. Over
Kyrie Waiters, Maybe Deng, TT and Maybe Hawes.

Only chance of getting another top 3 pick is a Kyrie centred deal

Think about this for a second, why would MIL or PHI trade their top 3 pick for Waiters or Thompson? Neither team is in win-now mode and the players in the top 3 this year project to be better than either of those guys. I doubt MIL has any interest whatsoever in moving the #2 pick. PHI may be interested in moving up to #1, but would not have an interest in a NBA player for #3 pick trade.

This makes sense. PHI still wouldn't be interested. MIL might. The biggest issue is Irving's contract status.

You mean having Irving for a minimum of two more years if for some virtually unprecedented reason he choses to sign his QO?...

As opposed to having a player on a rookie contract for what 5 years? Yes. 2 years of Irving, isn't worth 5 years of any of the top 3 players in this draft.

The thing is, that is just your perspective. Some might say that a guaranteed 2 years, with the possibility of 4 years, of a proven talent is a greater value than a prospect who has not played a game in the NBA.

I actually agree and would take the 4 years of one of the top 3 if I was an opposing team.

Hi i'm a jazz fan and i'm wondering if you guys would trade the #1 pick for Enes Kanter, #5 2014 pick, and the Jazz unprotected 2015 pick?

I don't think the Cavs would do that. While I like Kanter's potential, going from 1 to 5 in this years draft is too much of a drop. Even adding next years pick wouldn't help much. It seems that Gilbert wants to win now. The only way I can see the Cavs moving the #1 is for Kevin Love, and unless he is extended I don't see that happening either.
