The agenda driven idiocy of some on this board is astounding, one bad game is so relevant to proving why the player they don't like sucks but they don't have the self awareness of knowing that the player they like laid some pretty big turds as well. Single games mean pretty much jack squat and there is no consistency with you guys that do this either.

The post went way over your head apparently. Or you just didn't read the thread where Wise discounted Wiggins 39 pt game vs West Virginia because there midget Defenders were so bad that even Wise1 "could put up 40 vs them". Yet his guy laid an egg vs them.

My bad then, I'm just getting tired of seeing people scream about the Mercer game with Parker thought you were doing the same with Smart. I really don't think you can read much into single games, everybody can have a good game. The good ones are more interesting since you see what a player is capable of at least but even then you got to look at the whole picture.

Depends, is Smart playing against them now at age 20 or not ?

Couldn't disagree more. The bad ones tell you a lot more. I'm not really pro anyone, I'm just anti Parker. He's on the tier with Vonleh for me.

Point guards are so hard to scout. Everybody wanted Marvin Williams who wasn't a college starter over Chris Paul, just as an example of how hard it is to know what you've got in a PG. I wouldn't want either guard in the top 3, but would be ecstatic to pick up either through other means.

Do you actually believe that Exum is a top pick because he dominates high school games? :P

I have always felt that Exum was the x-factor in this draft. I could see him being one of the best players from this draft class in a few years. I could see him taken by the Bucks for that very reason. Hammond is a good judge of talent and if he selected Exum I would be pleased. Exum seems to fit the type of player Hammond likes.

Can you imagine? We'd just need a SG with length and we'd have the worlds longest team.

Don't ignore my point though: it's really hard to know what you've got with Exum because he hasn't been tested against strong competition. He looks great in the videos (yes highlight videos - I have no idea what it takes to obtain full game footage of him, but I"m certainly not going to sit around watching 48 minute Australian U17 videos to support my opinions on a message board), but it's really hard to picture whether or not the same stuff would work against NBA defenders.

If you are better at translating high school skill sets to the pros, good for you.

College competition is hardly a great judgement tool either.

He's not 16 either.

ultimately, the nba draft is about making projections, not about past achievements. although the two are often correlated, so they get confused.

I almost forgot how dumb casual fans can be. Some of my favorites were Exum being a second rounder, saying we don't need a SG because we have Mayo, saying Exum isnt fast quick or smooth...also not sure if the McDermott comments are trolling or serious...

We're talking about inferior competition when we just drafted a guy right out of the Greek 2nd division? Who looks like he could really good?

If you haven't taken the time to watch Exum play a game, why bother yourself trying to have an opinion? Is it that hard to just abstain? It's not necessary to have an opinion about everything.

You won't see me **** on Porzingis. I haven't seen the guy play. It's not complicated.
