First Jabari and now Jason Kidd are rumored to have basically forced their way to Milwaukee to the total surprise of all the analysts and ESPN guys who probably occasionally forget we have a team.
That is definitely new.

Is it confirmed that Kidd will be leaving the Nets to coach the Bucks?
A lot of these posts sound as though it's already a done deal.

Forced their way to Milwaukee? Parker was the #2 pick in a two-man draft and Kidd has a long-standing relationship with Lasry.
Convince a big name free agent to come here and I'll be impressed.
Disagree
Parker wanted to be here. He could've just said I want to go to Cle or wanted to go to Philly.
Kidd having the relationship with Lasry is exactly why they are able to convince him to come here.
It's because of the new owners we have this fresh energy already.

I would guess almost zero, but I wonder if that would change under different circumstances. I think the negative attitudes toward him are clustered around his power play (and how he screwed them on the way out as a player) than about his job performance.

I would love for you to be right, and there is a bit of a buzz around the Bucks right now.
But I think the two examples are exceptions to the rule. Do you think the Bucks now have a chance of luring big name free agents here? James? Anthony? Wade? Bosh? Any chance at all? What about next year (Kevin Love?) or in the future? Is there any chance at all a top-flight free agent chooses to come here because they like our owners?
