Really? Ask these same Bulls fans that were around in the late 90s and yeah I guess making the finals twice means nothing during that time.....nice try though
You're right - coming in second means nothing (even less so when you're barely .500 in a strike season). As I said, the Knicks haven't been truly relevant since the 70's.
Do you even know what relevant means? Because you're statement makes no sense when using that word....oh and the Pistons have been awesome how JSmooth and Jennings workig out for ya

Best chance is to land a star in next year's free agent pool which may be dried up before then (Love, Aldridge). Which again is NY's pitch. They can offer the most money, and are selling him on waiting another year when the Knicks have cap space.
I think they are pretending they can get Westbrook and/or Durant.
Durant is a free agent in 2016, Westbrook in 2017. I'd be surprised if they break that team up. They seem to be one piece away, Perkins is worthless and is expiring after next season. Gasol playing Center might be enough to get them to the Finals if they are healthy enough.

Well if he is that concerned about dropping off in talent this year then maybe we don't want to sign him at all. What I do know is he won't be getting that extra 23 million dollars the year he is 36 years old.
Hey, I hear ya. I almost prefer the Lance Stephenson fuller roster plan anyway.
