Cant speak to your credibility anymore after you cite twitter rumors in you article you fracking hack!

Yeah, after this and that "Bulls won't trade Deng for Bynum" article, I'm not going to listen to what KC has to say. On top of that last summer he said Bulls wouldn't use the mmle and then days later signed Dunleavy with it.

To be fair it was reported Melo wanted Taj here, so GarPax didnt really have a choice in that.

Bulls never discussed financials with Melo. Said they'd find a way to get him his money if he wanted to play here.

So with that said, if Melo comes he comes. If he doesn't, then we go to work on building as thick of a team as we can and let it play out. One thing is for certain, if he goes back to NY, I am fairly certain that he will regret it (from a career perspective) for a long long time.

I believe this as well. And thats gonna be really sad to see him stuck in that situation

SAD? The dude will be worth over 200 million dollars

There's alot of other sadder situations to feel for...

Note to everyone - try to restrain yourself from going on the Knicks board.

Sure, it brings its fair share of laughs but you'll struggle to refrain yourself from trolling.

I went to see how they were treating Mitch and he's been totally rejected  We still love you Mitch.

Honestly, Melo had a chance to write his name in the records book with a championship. Take 15 mil. The kids graduating from prestigious universities like Harvard, Penn, and Stanford can't even fathom making 15 mil in a year. It's crazy how much money these guys need to feel secure.

Tell them to learn how to shoot a basketball.Until everyday joes can fetch 20.00$ 120.00$ a game to watch them work this point is moot. And the owners of those teams are making 10x the players and half of them couldn't wipe their own a&#&@% . Supply and Demand

I'm just saying, they make so much more than the average person. People would kill for 15 mil. Stop being greedy and play for a damn championship.

And owners get way too much money too.

Michael Scott idea: everyone gets paid 100k. All other revenue goes to charity. boom.
Derrick Rose will do 1 of 2 things in the 2014-2015 NBA Season: 1) Return to MVP form and prove you wrong, or 2) Fail to return to MVP form and prove me wrong. Either way, one of us will end up looking like an ***hole.

Hmmm...did not know that.

That makes me feel a little better about the situation. I was hoping they didn't just offer him 16 mil.

Id like to think most players would like to win a championship and seeing one fumble the best shot of doing so for money is a sad thing. Whether he'll be worth 200 mil or not

Melo has to give half his money to the government, so he's wouldn't be getting $16 million with us. It'd be less than $10 million.

so does this mean that we will actually get Melo? Because as you said, after he said Deng for Bynum won't happen and Dunleavy won't be signed, it actually happened.

KC urposely trying to drop us hints so you don't loose your connection with the bulls FO.

gotta bring out this gif:

Looking like our opening night roster will look like this: Rose, Butler, McDermott, Gibson, Noah with Snell, MDJ, Bairstow, Smith and whatever else we bring in for Boozer's $ which I hope is Nikola and DJ.

I have always been the type of person that would rather not have to get to a certain point in my life or career and have to always wonder "what if". So If I'm Melo, I'd be looking at things from that very perspective. Like, what if I would have taken less money to go to a winner. Either I'm going to be less rich and fall short, or be less rich and have a legacy as a champion. If he stays in NY, sure, he knows he'll be richer than he is now. But if he doesn't win there (and all indications is that he probably wont), then he will have to sit back and wonder what his legacy would be had he just taken less.

I honestly don't think he will. I think players care a lot less than we think they should.
