A rival team executive told CBSSports.com Friday that the growing belief around the league is that Bosh would prefer a four-year max deal with another team to a discounted, longer-term deal with Miami. So many pieces in the Heat's puzzle are connected, and one of them falling out of place threatens to tear the whole thing apart. CBSSports.com

You think so? I thought he was a poor defender and that would make this deal appear to be an overpayment. This is probably the same deal Frye will get somewhere. I could see him in Charlotte along with Stephenson.

Yeah, he really is a bad defender. But the stretch bigs are rare, and he's also a great passer for a C. I'd be interested to see if his DFG% #s from CLE weren't a fluke. I was genuinely expecting something closer to $7-8 mil for him.

Any idea what we were offering him? Weird that we offered him a contract knowing we're still making a play for the big names still out there.

Ya I do lol...I was bored and have nothing to do until later tonight. It's a message board and I just thought I clear up some misconceptions. Yes, I'm a homer but so are you guys lol :P . I truly believe Lebron doesn't want to go to a third team in his career especially one in the west. It's either Miami or Cleveland in my opinion. Good luck on getting Bosh though! I always liked the Suns and Sonics growing up and I'd root for you guys in the west. I think he would be a good fit for you guys. Especially if Frye is gone.

Could be.....could be not. I really don't think he is afraid of going to the West. I don't know where people get that from. Athletes don't think that way!

I personally do not like lebron. I think he is a whiny diva but would I say no to him coming to phx, no I wouldn't. That's besides the point.

Nobody knows what lebron is going to but lebron himself. And yes we all have homerism.

If Lebron signs with Phoenix, we need to get rid of Steve Albert and Ann Meyers Drysdale. lol

Oh nevermind - half of our games will be on national television. :) :) :) :) :) :)

Hey Everyone! This is my first post but I have been a lurker for quite a few years now. Figured it was finally time to create an account and do some posting myself. lol. This is by far the best Suns forum on the internet and I love hearing all your guys input and thoughts on the state of the Suns!

Alright, so considering I decided to introduce myself in this thread I might as well give my thoughts on the current Lebron situation. Of course I want Lebron/Bosh here in Phoenix just like the rest of you guys do and I cant help but get more excited as each day passes and the Heat dont add any solid free agent players. Cleveland does worry me a little bit but Wiggins is still unproven at this point and I just dont see Kyrie and Lebron being able to coexist there. I just get a vibe from Kyrie that he is more worried about himself than winning. (I think lebron knows this as well) Of course he wants to win but I dont think he wants to do it without all of the attention on him and obviously if the "King" does make a return to Cleveland he will be pushed out of the spotlight. In my somewhat biased opinion I really do 'BELIEVE' that Phoenix is the best place for Lebron to win now and for the foreseeable future. As we learned last year there really isnt one player on our team that doesnt mind sharing the spotlight with everyone else. Our record last year was definitely not the result of just one player. Dragic was our best player for sure but without the emergence of Green as a fairly consistent scorer and Kieff finding his groove off the bench we would have been a lot worse. It doesnt stop with just them but I was just throwing a couple examples out there. My point is that all of our players respect eachother and know that we wouldnt be in the position we are in know without the person next to them. No huge Egos, it was about the team all year long. Lebron is smart enough to see that and know that this is a better situation for him basketball wise than Cleveland is. I know that was long and I rambled alot but just wanted to share my opinion.

I thought this was interesting. If Houston has turned their attention to Bosh then I would imagine the search is down to us and Cleveland.

Give Ann a break. She is knowledgeable and breaks the game down well. Sure her voice is mundane and non-enthusiastic, but I won't dis her. Although, Eddie is the man.

We can give two max contracts. I guarantee we are prepared to offer one to bosh, if lebron comes.

My goodness Houston is gonna be so stacked. Dwight, Harden, Bosh, Beverly and then Francisco etc off the bench.

There is just something with Houston and Dwight that just doesn't jibe with me :-? That don't play well as a unit. They had a ton of players last year and got rocked by Portland.....do you think Bosh changes that? If so How? Howard and Harden appear to be mental midgets.

My homerism speaking maybe :D

Don't know if it's just me, but I'm starting to get a sense of discord within the big through What I am reading. Could be a huge smoke screen and they all resign. But right now, with each passing hour/day, it's starting to feel more and more like Miami is about to go into full rebuild mode. Big three days seem to be done.

Again this may be some ploy by them / smoke screen. Who knows.
