Bosh has said more than once that he doesn’t want to leave Miami. But if the unexpected happens, and LeBron bolts in free agency, it would be easy to see Bosh doing the same — for max money, and without having to deal with the decision of whether or not to take a discount.

If Lebron leaves, would Bosh's offer from Miami get increased? Or do you think they're basically trying to get a favorable deal regardless?

I don't care. These guys can do whatever they want to do. They got us 2 rings and 4 straight Finals, I won't stop respecting them no matter the situation with their free agency.

Would this really be surprising?

Loyalty?

You do remember how he left Toronto, right? He played the Raptors management, telling them they had a chance to re-sign him, when he'd been planning the Miami move for years.

As far as basketball is concerned, Bosh looks out for himself. He'll go where he thinks he can get money and have a shot at another ring.

Loyalty? He would stay in Toronto at first place if he worry about loyalty.

And

Bosh is suppose to be part of big 3 but he turn out to be the punchbag in Miami and first one to trade if fan have chance.

Fans still won't vote for him as all star game starter even the rule has changed to remove Center spot which should favor him.

Now he suppose to take mass pay cut so Lebron can have his max?

No wonder Bosh is looking for max salary from some where else.

What happened to the guy in Miami that used to call out every franchise and player whenever he perceived someone not being loyal?

But this increasing talk of the big 3 breaking up honestly has me thinking Riley has something up his sleeve. Inb4 Pau and Ariza

Pau and Ariza? This isn't the 2009 Lakers. These two wont be enough to fix the problems they had facing the SPurs and Wade's declining abilities. The longer they wait, the more good role players are being scooped up and making it harder for MIA to come back even or stronger.

Would love to see Bosh in the Phoenix offense. He and Dragic would run an insane pick and roll.

I wouldn't call it money over loyalty as he had no obligation to be loyal. Heat use him like Channing Frye anyways, so why not just go out and get Frye, even though Frye can't defend the pick and roll as well, but then get a C too. Frye will only cost like $6-7M and over his last 4 seasons he's taken 5 3PA/G and made 38.9%.

Bosh in Houston makes too much sense to actually happen.

Actually I would prefer Bosh leaves, I miss the old Bosh that was an okay first option, but a very solid second option, or co-first option if he was paired with a similar level player. It would be nice to have that guy back jab stepping guys and flailing his neck to draw FT's.

Why is a quote from a rival executive that wants to sign Bosh representative of what Bosh wants? He said it himself, that he wants to stay and is willing to take less to keep the team together.

Now if, and that is a big IF, Lebron leaves, what makes anyone think that Miami wouldn't offer Bosh the max? Anyone that thinks he isn't worth it is nothing more than a boxscore analyst.

If Bosh wants the money if Lebron leaves then that's great news for the HEAT becuase we can offer him the most.

If he wants to get paid and be an alpha dog again, good for him. On the other hand if he likes Miami and winning enough to take that paycut, then I'd respect that too. He doesn't owe anyone anything, he should make the decision he wants for himself.

Bosh was never alpha dog anywhere, even when he was the best player on mediocre Raps teams and made franchise by default. Then he went all 'wolf trapped in a cage' and 'yeah teams can build around me; I'm a first option' only to take Miami's offer, one that had been placed in his ear when he was still a Raptor.

If he goes to Houston or Dallas he will get his money, and he has been misused in Miami's system. But that doesn't mean he'll be a cog on either team. More useful, more likely, but Bosh is a walking sales pitch, and that's what I find most distasteful about him - not as self-advertized.

It's not Bosh's fault for the way Riley chose to construct a team, and he's free to leave if he so wishes. But players like those on true dynasty teams are built together, grown together, especially through leaner times or years when they didn't reach the ultimate goal. Doesn't seem like Bosh or LBJ for that matter are of that ilk.

Bosh is one of the best pick and roll defenders in the entire league...his mobility and quickness is an irreplaceable part of what made the heat's defense effective during their current run...and his versatility on offense is the key to the revamped small-ball offense that shot their offensive efficiency into the stratosphere after what was bit of a struggle (relatively speaking) in the first year.

Hes up there with melo as one of the most disrespected star players in the league right now. To ask that man, who has already sacrificed so much already, to take ANOTHER pay cut to upwards of 7, 8 million a year is an ultimate slap in the face.

I understand wanting to win, but to me it wouldn't be worth it...you're losing $ and falling victim to this strange phenomenon that magically turns the perception of any player teamed up with lebron into that of some bum role player that the king is burdened with carrying...it's not like bosh is getting any kind of credit or "legacy points" whatsoever for winning rings in MIA, he went from being considered one of the best pf in the league to people acting like he's big baby davis or something in the span of 4 years...he's an elite defender capable of giving you 20plus a game still in his prime and people are scoffing at him asking for more than 1 or 2 mil per year than Gortat lol

The more each day goes by, the more I feel that Lebron is going to Houston.

20+ a season for Bosh is absolutely insane (his max is somewhere around 23 right?). We're talking about a guy who laid a goose egg in game 7 last year of the finals. He's a 15-17 mill player imo. Especially for the Heat. He should really be a PF.

I would love to see Bosh go to the Rockets, then Dallas might have a shot at Chandler Parsons or a miracle needed to land Lebron
