Stretch 4's are apparently 'in' this offseason. Orlando is kind of confusing me with a lot of the moves they've been making, starting with the Afflalo trade.

I suspect we're due for at least one more shift in momentum towards the Bulls, Lakers and KNicks before it's said and done.

What do you think will be the event to get things going back in Chicago's direction.

And for the bonus round, will KnicksGod be swayed by each and every one?

** despite CBA complications.

i ve maintained from "jump" that Lebron and Melo would want to play together...

That's fine. Just understand Melo, McRobers and Granger would all have to be paid via cap space.

I don't think Frye can even play the 4. He's over 260 lbs. Melo would put up 80 on him.

Why do people keep saying "watch out for Miami" like no one has been discussing it?

Same crap you said when it looked like Lin was gone, and you called it all media hype. Then you disappeared when Lin was, in fact, out the door, only to come back now and say the same stuff all over again.

I say Melo's probably going to take the money. That could be the problem, though, is part of my point this time. Not that he's gone necessarily but that I wonder if his heart is in this thing as much as his wallet.

Funniest joke this off season is Heat fans still referring to Wade, Bosh, and James as the big three.

The Chicago board really should watch out for Miami. They still think Melo is still in play for the Windy City :noway:

No, I did not. I wrote that I thought the Knicks would match the offer. What did I ever say was media hype? Are you suggesting I denied he signed the offer sheet and that was media hype?

Then you disappeared when Lin was, in fact, out the door, only to come back now and say the same stuff all over again.

I recuse myself when things get crazy around here. I have no prediction about Melo other than I'm of the opinion he comes back, but if he leaves, you won't see me around until that dies down either.

I was wrong about the Knicks retaining Lin. Take yes for an answer. Would you like me to put it in my sig? I'd be glad to if you think it's important.

{quote} Not that he's gone necessarily but that I wonder if his heart is in this thing as much as his wallet.[/quote]

I've reconciled the fact that for most NBA players ths is a professional above all else. It's why Frye went to Orlando.

I don't need Melo to have to bleed for it. If he's a Knick and he plays hard (which I've never had an issue with before) that's fine.

I don't need to think he's as big a "fan" as I am.
