No, I did not. I wrote that I thought the Knicks would match the offer. What did I ever say was media hype? Are you suggesting I denied he signed the offer sheet and that was media hype?

I recuse myself when things get crazy around here. I have no prediction about Melo other than I'm of the opinion he comes back, but if he leaves, you won't see me around until that dies down either.

I've reconciled the fact that for most NBA players ths is a professional above all else. It's why Frye went to Orlando.
I don't need Melo to have to bleed for it. If he's a Knick and he plays hard (which I've never had an issue with before) that's fine.
I don't need to think he's as big a "fan" as I am.
