Two terrible signings, and I'm not being completely negative. Granger has been washed up for a while, he was washed up two years ago and once you're washed up you don't get better unless you play for Phoenix. As for McRoberts, I don't see how he fits our needs, he isn't good at rebounding or defense, and he's barely a good shooter. 6 rebounds per36 for a guy who's going to be probably starting at power forward? I mean that's worse than Chris Bosh the last two years.
I'm under the assumption that the big 3 were willing to take a pay cut so that we had around 5-6 million in cap space, so I'm hoping that means we still have the 5-6 million for another player like Jordan Hill or Paul Gasol and then once we've evaporated all our cap we can use the exceptions.
Jameer Nelson / Nappier / Cole
Wade / Allen / Morrow
Lebron / Granger / Ennis
Bosh / McRoberts / Haslem
Jordan Hill or Gasol / Birdman / Oden
Would have looked so much better than what I'm thinking our lineup is going to be looking like now. For **** sake you could have signed Spencer Hawes with that money, the perfect fit to our lineup. Spaces the floor better, better size, much better rebounder, fills the need at center, is still young, same money, same passer.
