We did absorb Ridnour last year, so we know he can do it.

Would be extremely disappointed to see Philly gather even more future 1sts with Hammond sleeping at the switch. If a first rounder is on the table you have to do that deal, especially if you are committed to a 3-5 year rebuild and aquiring young assets to develop and grow together in the coming years. Also, with the big money signings of stretch 4s this summer such as McRoberts, Patterson, and Frye on similar deals I don't know why we can't get value for Ersan and clear the logjam at PF...

I think the issue is who exactly is making the outbound "deal calls" on behalf of the Bucks.

If Kidd, Lasry and Edens want a certain player, they really need to wheel and deal themselves to get it done. Hammond isn't skilled enough to make things like that happen. As we've discussed, he's really only burned Dumars on the Jennings trade. That's it over six-years.

Seemed obvious when the three names Bledsoe, Vazquez, and Lin were leaked, that Vazques would be the one we end up with. Bledsoe is too non-Hammond and Lin would come with assets. Vazquez was the clear only option for Hammond.

The inbound vs. Outbound trade ledger for Hammond is horrific. I won't even lay it out. Too depressing.

Not a surprise that the Bucks won't get Bledsoe or Lin and assets. All on board the tank for 2015

Who is this Jake pavorsky kid on twitter and why is he being retweeted as a source? Claims now that Philly and Houston anve agreed on a Lin deal.

If our general manager was an ancient Angelo Saxon king his name would be "John the Meek" or "Hammond the Stammering". This whole discussion about two different camps now with Hammond on one side & Kidd/Lasry/Edens in another is so bogus & was so avoidable. John's gotta go if he can't make something positive happen for us this summer.

He's got some sources within the org. I think. He's broken some stories before. Don't let the age fool you.

Well, Hammond's 1st & 2nd year on the job were pretty solid across the board. Certainly not flawless, but he made some decent moves and trades. Was named EOY for a few reasons. Dumped Mo/Mason for Ridnour. Moved Yi/Simmons for RJ. Flipped RJ next year for Kurt Thomas and Bowen/Oberto expirings. Signed Ersan to a great deal. Grabbed Stackhouse. Delfino was useful even though dumping Amir was bad. Trade for Salmons obviously.

I have no idea what the structure is, but I have to just hope for the best with Hammond/Morway unleashed from Kohl and we'll evaluate after the dust settles to see how they did.

Other teams all over are adding firsts with cap space. Entering year 7 of a Hammond, he has yet to add ONE additional first rounder. I couldn't care less about all the insignificant deals where we came out slightly ahead.

Alex Kennedy once had the same problem with re: to people believing if he was legit or not. Young guys have to drop knowledge or else no one's going to follow them, they can't fall back on their useless [in the eye of the informed] names like Woelfel and Amico.

If the first will be Houston's, I'll laugh. If it is the Pelican's I'll give it a "meh". If it's either of those and Capela, I'll cry.
