I just don't understand this. If you're going to blame anyone for this, blame Henderson and MKG for not being good enough ball handlers. It's not McRoberts fault that as a power forward he is the second best ball handler in our starting lineup. And don't blame Clifford for using McRoberts' as a secondary ball handler. You may prefer a more traditional set with the guards handling the ball and the bigs playing down low, and I bet Clifford prefers that too. But last year, McRoberts was the best secondary ball handler we had, so don't blame Clifford for putting the ball in his hands.

So don't blame McRoberts for this. Blame Gerald Henderson. Or blame Cho for not bringing in a starting 2 guard who can be a secondary ball handler.

My biggest issue is that we are taking the ball out of Kembas hands to run the offense though Mcbob. Now that's not his problem that's a Clifford issue and If we need another ball handling so be it but running our offense though Mcbob only to have him give us 8.5 and 5 for 30mins played We can do better.

My biggest relief is the loss of McRoberts forces Cho to address the fact that neither Henderson nor MKG can initiate real offense for a playoff team. McRoberts was definitely a crutch for Cho and thus became a crutch for Clifford. Cho needs to supply the tools now and the pressure ticked up for him. Hairston is all he came up with for offense (hopefully not federal offense) from traditionally high offense positions.

Silly posts like this is what aggravate me. Kemba averaged over 7 assist throughout the last few months of the season consistently and some of you lingering haters still won't cut him a break. The offense ran better once they stopped putting it in McRoberts' hands so much and allowed Kemba to be the lead point guard via more pick-and-roll sets etc. that kept the ball in his hands

This post also goes towards the posters that 'And1'd this foolishness too. If you're going to attack Kemba, attack his inefficient shooting because that's the only thing holding him back from being a All-Star right about now. No, McRoberts' wasn't needed because Kemba was a incompetent point guard. McRoberts was needed because Henderson is a incompetent secondary ball handler as a shooting guard

Now, that's the #facts

Also because MKG can't create any offense for himself or others. McRoberts was integral to the team's offense because Hendo + MKG were a black hole.

MKG actually has pretty good court vision. His shooting, just like everything else offensively, limits his ability to take advantage of that.

It sucks to see McRoberts go, he was one of my favorites too. Having written that, look how different the Hornets are from the Bobcats era. This is quite different than needlessly overpaying Matt Carroll. If LeBron sticks around in Miami, I imagine McRoberts won't be so undervalued across the league for too long.

The Heat can't offer anything near us, McBob is a traitor, I hope he is left to start with bum knees Wade and Granger.

Zeller and Jefferson are starters with Vonleh and Biyombo backing them up as of right now.

McBob fit perfect on our team, it will be funny watching him transform back into an end of bench body in Miami within two years.

So now rick bonnell says he sighed a similar deal to the one charlotte offered. If that's the case, I wish the heat become a lottery team and he goes back to being the useless bench player he was before.

Some people are born pessimists.

But I do not see McBob living up to his contract if the big 3 leave. What the hell are they gonna do if Wade goes to Chicago to finish his career.
