Seems like a desperation move from Rich Paul. He should've paid more attention to Bledsoe early in FA rather than LBJ.

Yeah, that is a fine amount, but the fact that we raised our offer, instead of settling at that number isn't good. That means Bledsoe and his agent are making us increase our offer, which effectively says we will settle at a higher number. We should have held at 4/44 and then let them work their way down to saying they will accept 4/48.

Now we are at 4/48 and they are at 5/80. They are at 16 a year and we are at 12. If we meet in the middle at 14 a year, that is 4/56 or 5/70, which is pretty ridiculous. Even if he was going to be absolutely healthy for the contract, I don't think he's worth it, and neither does the market. So there is ZERO reason to go there.

But there isn't even a guarantee he is healthy. This could be another Rose situation, making 16 million while eating skittles on the bench for two years.

It's nothing less than extremely risky no matter how much we give him now, but their asking price is just absurd.

If there was a bidding war going on, at least I'd understand it.

Yeah, see ya later Andrew Wiggins. Have fun in Minnesota. This is gonna happen really soon. No way it does not. Not with Lebron making it public he wants Love. It is amazing the power Lebron has. Pretty crazy.

Lebron straight up left him out to dry, just like Napier and Bosh/Wade. Wiggins will just be his latest victim. Unless...we can somehow save him from this fate with a three-way trade.

I think the chances of Suns getting Wiggins are practically zero. However as I posted above, I would like to get Anthony Bennett. He still has time and ability to develop into a very good player.

Word is the Love trade would be for Wiggins/Bennett/Haywood/CLE 1st.

I might be open to S&T Bled to Cleveland for Waiters/Thompson/MIA 1st.

If you look at Waiters games, he was real hit-or-miss to start the season, but come March he finally found his groove and was putting up some great numbers. Both he and Thompson are good defenders as well.

FYI, Bledsoe is in Phoenix right now. Or at least he was yesterday.

Many ppl need to calm down. Nothing is going wrong here. Everything is OK. Bledsoe will eventually sign a contract, or he will be S&T'd, or whatever. But the situation today is no different than it was on July 10, except there are fewer teams who can offer EB a big contract.

Which is good. Not great, definitely not bad, it's,basically just... the same.

Breathe..

Let's get in the Love Trade!

Cavs get Love and Martin
Cavs give up Wiggins, Bennett or Thompson, Waiters

Suns get Anthony Bennet or Thompson, Waiters, Dieng
Suns give up Bledsoe (S & T), Len, and 1st Pick

T-Wolves get Wiggins, Bledsoe, and Len, 1st round Pick
T-Wolves give up Love and Martin

That is my rambling but I will leave it to the pro's to critique and add their intake

Dragic / IT / Ennis (D-League)
Waiters / Goodwin
Green / Tucker / Morris
Bennett or Thompson / Morris
Dieng / Plumlee

Doubt its possible but Let's GO!!!

I know Bledsoe and LeBron are supposedly BFFs but would Cleveland want two point guards making $16 million a year each? LeBron needs to be surrounded by shooters, not more ballhandlers. I don't think it makes sense for them to trade for him.

I don't think there is any way they can absorb that much salary anyway. And then when Kyrie's contract kicks in next year, they'd be paying four players like $70 million.

At this point, Dieng>>>>>Len, so i dont see why they would downgrade from Dieng, who you happened to have left off of the "T-Wolves give up" list.

Also, i dont think the Wolves would give Bled the max offer he is looking for, so it would be hard to S&T him to Minny.

Sorry forgot that! The true value for Len would basically be Len and 1st for Dieng (He will be paid in a matter of time and they are locked with 12 mill for Pekovic), Bledsoe and Wiggins for Love and Martin.

Cavs would be

Irving
Martin
Lebron
Love
Varajao

(Still weak up front)

Suns would be

Dragic
Waiters
Green or Tucker
Bennett or Thompson
Dieng

Wolves

Rubio
Bledsoe
Wiggins
(MAY BE BETTER TO SEND BOTH MORRIS BROS RATHER THAN LEN)
Pekovich

I still don't think that is agreat trade for Love. I think its pure crap. If I am the Twolves - this is what I ask for

Kevin Love, Kevin Martin for Wiggins, Bennett. Varejao, Haywood and a pick

I would call up the Bulls again - and I would call up the Warriors again too

Please Explain?

Rookie Contracts, Assets, and youth! This team will be good in 2-3 years.

Not like we are going to win a Ring if Bledsoe re-signs!

Why are you guys keeping Suns involved in that Love trade? Cavs will give Wiggins and get Love, that's all.

Seems like infinite amount of money

Yes I do and any day of the week I would be open to do this

Len will amount to nothing. Bledsoe will play 40 games a year and collect the money without putting us in contention. Also, He wants to balk at the suns and say he wants 80 mill. Send his :banghead: to cold Minny

I do not know that Dieng >>>>>> Len, but that is because Len has not played enough that I can evaluate him yet. The word is Bledsoe does not want to go to Minny and its winter wonderland and i do not think Minny would pay him a max, even if it could.

I think the wolves would be absolutely insane to not do love for Wiggins. He's such a higher upside get than clay Thompson or anything the bulls would offer.

Bet that deal gets done before the weekend.

I just want the Suns to sneak into the picture and snag Anthony Bennett. Cavs might sell low on him in order more quickly build depth around LeBron.
